The Summary panel: Key Idea and what to do with it

Every piece of content comes with a summary you can read in seconds and copy in one click.

Written by Customer Service Learninghubz

Open any video, course or document and the right-hand panel opens on Summary. It is the fastest way to decide whether something is worth your time, and the fastest way to refresh it afterwards.

Key Idea

The summary opens with the Key Idea — the single point the content is making, in two or three lines. If that does not speak to your situation, you have saved yourself the watch.

The breakdown

Below it, the main sections are set out in order, each with its own bullets. Read it before watching to know what is coming, or after watching instead of taking notes.

Copy

The Copy button at the end of the panel copies the whole summary. Useful for pasting into your own notes, or into a message to a colleague along with the link.

The other tabs

  • Coach — the AI assistant for this content. It has an Ask your coach box and a Questions button with suggested prompts. Ask it to explain something again, or to help you apply it to your own case.

  • Related — other content in the hub on the same subject.

  • Comments — what your colleagues have said about it.

Tip

The summary and the Coach work well together. Read the Key Idea, then ask the Coach "how would this apply to a team of six remote engineers?" — you get the general principle and your specific case in about a minute.
