Learninghubz is committed to protecting the Personal Data entrusted to it. For this reason, all personal information is processed and protected with the utmost care, always in accordance with applicable national legislation and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation).

Learninghubz, Lda. (hereinafter referred to as "Learninghubz", "we", "us", or "the Company") processes your personal data (also referred to in this Policy as "information") in accordance with the purposes described below.

Learninghubz is the controller of your personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


Why do we need your information?

The Company processes your personal data for the following purposes.

The Learninghubz website may request personal information such as your first name, last name and email address so that we can send you information about our products and services, newsletters, marketing communications, invitations and related content.

You may unsubscribe from all Learninghubz newsletters and information services at any time. If you do so, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.

To access the Learninghubz Service, users must:

  • Be covered by a service agreement between their employer (or another eligible organisation) and Learninghubz, or have requested a demonstration of the Service.

  • Provide their first name, last name and email address.

This information is essential for the provision of the contracted Service and will never be shared or used for any purpose other than delivering that Service.

Within this context, your platform usage data (such as viewed content) is also made available to the administrator responsible for your organisation for reporting and usage analysis purposes.


Non-Identifying Information

Whenever you visit our Website or Platform, we may collect non-identifying information, including:

  • IP address

  • Referring URL

  • Browser type

  • Operating system

  • Cookie information

  • Internet Service Provider

Without a subpoena, voluntary compliance from your Internet Service Provider or additional third-party records, this information alone cannot be used to identify you.

Your data will be processed by LEARNINGHUBZ using appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a high level of security.

Your personal information will be retained for as long as there is a contractual relationship between your employer and Learninghubz, or for the duration of the demonstration period.


Will my information be shared with others?

Learninghubz uses trusted service providers to deliver its Service. These partners are contractually bound to comply with high standards of security and personal data protection.

For example, Intercom is certified under recognised international privacy frameworks and incorporates the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (June 2021).

All contractual partners are required to:

  • Treat personal data confidentially.

  • Use personal data solely for purposes related to services performed on behalf of Learninghubz.

Platform usage data (such as viewed content) is also made available to administrators of the contracting organisation for reporting purposes and to record employees' learning activities and training.

Your data will be processed within the European Union and in countries whose level of protection has been recognised as adequate by the European Commission.

Learninghubz will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent.


What are my rights?

At any time, you may request:

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you.

  • Objection to, restriction of or deletion of your personal data.

  • Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means.
