Pages: giving a subject its own space

Build a themed page so a campaign or a subject has somewhere to live in the hub.

Written by Customer Service Learninghubz

A page is a themed area of your hub — leadership, onboarding, a compliance campaign, a product launch. It gives a subject visibility that it would not get sitting loose in the library.

Creating one

  1. Click Admin and, under Content Management, open Add › Page.

  2. Give the page a title and a cover image.

  3. Choose how the content is laid out.

  4. Save.

The content you want on the page has to already be in the hub. If it is not, add it first — see Adding content to the hub.

Filling it

Open the page and use Admin › This Page › Edit Page to add content and arrange it into sections. See Featuring content on a page for the detail.

Managing your pages

Admin › Configuration › Pages lists every page in the hub. Header Menu, in the same block, controls which of them appear in the top navigation — a page nobody can find is a page nobody reads.

A page or a playlist?

Use a page when the subject is broad and people will dip in and out. Use a Playlist / Learning Path when there is an order to follow and you want progress tracked through it. Assign the playlist; promote the page.
