Creating an interactive course from your own documents

Course Studio turns a policy, a manual or a presentation into an interactive course.

Your internal training is probably sitting in PowerPoint, PDF or text documents. Course Studio takes that material and builds the complete instruction an AI needs to produce an interactive course — as a single HTML file, ready to host on your hub.

Open it from Admin › Create Course. There are four steps and it takes about two minutes.

Step 1 — Content

Load the document (PDF, Word, text or Markdown) or paste the text. Alternatively, choose to work from a topic and write the points to cover, one per line.

The panel shows the character and word count, and estimates the number of chapters and the duration. A policy of six to twelve pages usually gives a course of five to nine chapters.

Important. With no source document, the course is written from the AI's general knowledge. That works for universal subjects — communication, time management, leadership. For policies, legal obligations and internal procedures the result will be generic and may not match your organisation's rules. In those cases, always load the document.

Step 2 — Configuration

The most important decision is how the content is treated:

  • Fidelity — nothing is removed, summarised or reinterpreted. Required whenever the original legal wording carries weight. For compliance, legislation and safety.

  • Editorial — language can be simplified and examples created. The essential meaning is preserved, and facts and rules are never invented. For onboarding, soft skills and culture.

This step also sets the course title and organisation, lets you choose up to five languages (with more than one, the course is generated with a language switcher), and tunes the experience: navigation type, target duration, interactivity, knowledge checks and scenarios. When in doubt, leave these on AUTO — the AI decides from the content.

Choose the progression as well: free, with every chapter always available, or sequential and gated, where each chapter unlocks only once the previous one has been read and its knowledge check answered correctly. The second is the one for compliance.

Step 3 — Design

Choose the visual base. There are sixteen styles, from the house Corporate Learninghubz to styles inspired by well-known products, plus a custom colour option: give the client's dominant colour and the application derives the full palette from it.

Step 4 — Final prompt

  1. Copy the prompt, or download it as a .txt file.

  2. Open a new conversation in an AI application — Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini — and paste the prompt.

  3. Wait. Generation takes a few minutes, which is normal.

  4. Open the HTML file and test it in the browser, including on a phone.

  5. Ask for any corrections you want, in the same conversation.

  6. Download the final HTML file.

You need a paid account on one of those applications. Given the size of the prompt, the generated course is a very large file, and free tiers cut the reply off halfway. Without a paid account, send the document to [email protected] and Learninghubz will do this step for you.

Getting the course into the hub

Once you have the HTML file, host it and add it to the hub as a course — see Publishing a SCORM or HTML course. Or send the file to [email protected] and we will take care of the hosting and publishing.

Nothing leaves your computer. The document is read in your browser; the application does not send it anywhere.
