Asking the AI: Ask, Coach and your AI Answers

Three places the assistant helps you — searching, working through a piece of content, and going back to what it told you.

Written by Customer Service Learninghubz

The hub has an assistant in three places. They do different jobs, and it is worth knowing which one you want.

Ask — on the home page

The search box invites you to describe a challenge, a goal or a skill. Type it in plain language and press Ask. Instead of a list of results, you get an answer built from the content in your hub. There is also a microphone, if you would rather speak than type.

Coach — inside a piece of content

Open any video, course or document and the right-hand panel has a Coach tab, with an Ask your coach box at the bottom and a Questions button for suggested prompts. This assistant knows the content you are looking at. Ask it to explain a point again, to give you an example, or to help you apply what you just learned to your own situation.

AI Answers — in My Learning

Under Resources in the My Learning sidebar, AI Answers keeps what the assistant has told you, so you can go back to a useful answer without asking for it again.

Good to know

The assistant answers from your organisation's hub, so the quality of what you get back depends on what has been published there. If an answer looks thin, the content behind it may be missing — worth telling whoever manages the hub.

For how the assistants handle your data, see the AI assistants FAQ.
